if you deal with companies like this, call the original creditor ask for the records, accounting sheet of the alleged debt (Which is really a credit after you signed it), see how much has been paid what did they file on the taxes from this debt, was this a write off , was anything collected from this debt, ask for it all. they must give you all the details LAWFULLY if this debt has been paid in full which it has, you just don't know it, understanding contract law and you win.

this world is full of greed, and will do anything to get it, read, educate yourself and stop falling victim to these scams. if you run up a credit card or buy a car etc, yes PAY your bills but if you cant, take the LAWFUL matters and get it resolved, and case closed...
